Linking the iBeacon to Handset

Before starting your first journey (You’ll Only Need to Do This Once):

1. Install the Mileage Expenses App:

• If the app is not already on your phone, download it from the App Store or Google Play Store by searching for ‘Mileage Expenses’. Once downloaded, log in with your username and password (provided in your welcome email).

2. Bluetooth Link the iBeacon:

• Open the app and go to Settings. Select the option to Link iBeacon. Ensure the iBeacon is near your phone to connect. If you have the USB version, it should be plugged into your vehicle with the power source turned on.

3. Check Connection Status:

• Once linked, the status bar at the top of your phone screen will say LINKED. Go back into Settings and ensure the slider for Enable iBeacon is on/green.

4. Troubleshooting:

• If the link is not established, reduce the iBeacon proximity to 20% and attempt to link again.
