Asset Groups help you organize your assets for reporting purposes. You can place assets into multiple groups, such as by vehicle type (e.g., car/van) and shift pattern (e.g., day/night).

Setting Up a New Asset Group:

  1. Navigate to Administration:

    • Go to Administration > Asset Groups.

  1. Add a New Asset Group:

    • Click the plus sign (+) to add a new Asset Group.
  2. Choose the Parent Folder:

    • Select the parent folder based on how you want to organize your asset groups.
    • Enter the name of the new group and click Next.
  3. Review and Finish:

    • Review the information on the next screen.
    • If everything is correct, click Finish.

Adding Assets to the Group

  1. Via Asset Group:

    • Click on the Asset Group you created.
    • Navigate to the Assets section.
    • Click the plus sign (+) to add assets.

  1. Via Asset Screen:

    • Go to Administration > Assets.
    • Select the asset(s) you want to add.
    • Edit the Information screen to include the Asset Group.

Running Reports

  • To run reports based on the vehicles in Asset Groups, use the Asset Filter:
    • Type "any vehicle in group…" in the Asset Filter.
    • This will generate reports for the assets in the specified Asset Groups.
