How to Use the Routing Feature

The Routing feature allows you to efficiently plot a journey route between any two locations selected from your vehicle assets, POIs, or manually typed locations. This is ideal for planners to use in conjunction with the Proximity service to identify the closest vehicle and the most efficient route.

Step 1: Access the Routing Menu

1. Log in to the Motia Telematics Portal.
2. Select the 'Routing' icon from the top blue navigation bar.

Step 2: Select Start and Destination Points

1. In the Routing menu, choose the start and destination points for your route plan. You can select from vehicle assets, POIs, or manually type a location.

Step 3: View Routing Map Plot

1. The Routing map plot between the selected points will be displayed on the map.
2. Step-by-step routing instructions will be provided, taken directly from Google Maps.
