       1. Turn Off the Vehicle

  • Before starting, ensure your vehicle is turned off before installation.

2. Locate the OBD Port

  • Find the OBD-II port, usually located under the dashboard on the driver’s side. It may be behind a small panel.

3. Mount the Dashcam to the Windscreen

  • Choose a spot behind the rearview mirror for optimal road visibility.
  • Clean the area with a cloth to remove dust or grease.
  • Peel off the adhesive backing and firmly press the dashcam mount onto the windscreen.

4. Connect the Dashcam to the OBD Power Cable

  • Plug the dashcam into the provided extension cable.
  • Connect the extension cable to the OBD power adapter.
  • Plug the adapter into the OBD port.

5. Hide the Wires

  • Tuck the cable into the headliner (the fabric at the top of the windshield).
  • Run it down the A-pillar (side of the windshield) using a trim removal tool if needed.
  • Continue routing the cable under the dashboard to the OBD port.
  • Use cable clips or zip ties to secure any loose sections.

6. Power On and Test

  • Start your vehicle. The dashcam should power on automatically.
  • Check the camera angle and adjust if necessary.
  • Confirm that it’s recording on the platform.
