How to Use Driver Behaviour Profiles (Asset Rating Profiles)

Asset Rating Profiles help you rate the performance of assets (like vehicles or drivers) for each trip they complete. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started:

1. Understanding Asset Rating Profiles

  • Purpose: Rate the performance of an asset based on events during a trip.
  • Perfect Score: 100 points.
  • Penalties: Points are deducted for specific events.

2. Standard Profile: Driver Behaviour

  • Default Setup: Deducts 1 point for each of the following events:
    • Harsh Acceleration
    • Harsh Brake
    • Harsh Corner
    • Speeding

3. Creating a New Asset Rating Profile

  • Steps:
    1. Go to the Asset Rating Profile screen.
    2. Click the plus sign (+).
    3. Enter a name for your new profile.



4. Editing an Existing Profile

  • Steps:
    1. Navigate to Asset Rating Profile in the Administration section.
    2. Select the Driver Behaviour profile.
    3. Click the edit icon.
    4. Click on the penalty you wish to edit.
    5. Change the penalty value in the edit screen.



5. Adding a New Penalty Type

  • Steps:
    1. Click the Add button.
    2. Enter the new parameters.
    3. Choose from a variety of event options by selecting action….
    4. Click OK to add the penalty to the profile.



6. Applying Profiles to Assets

  • Steps:
    1. Navigate to the Profiles section in Asset Details.
    2. Select the desired Asset Rating profile from the drop-down list.



7. Viewing Scores

  • Steps:
    1. Once the profile is assigned, scores will be visible in the Trip History tab.
    2. Use the Driver Behaviour Dashboard template to review scores.


8. Including Scores in Reports

  • Steps:
    1. Add Rating in the Columns found in the Standard section.
    2. This will present a score per trip and provide an average score for the time period outlined in the report.
