How to Set Up Driver Behaviour Alerts

The Driver Behaviour Alert sends an email notification when the vehicle tracking device detects harsh acceleration, braking, or cornering events. Severe brake events are considered serious due to their higher impact. Follow these steps to set up the alert:

Step 1: Access the Alerts

1. Log in to the Motia Telematics Portal.
2. Highlight the vehicle you want to set the alert for.
3. Click on the "Alerts" icon in the blue function bar.

Step 2: Select the Alert Type

1. Choose the 'Driver Behaviour Alert' from the list.

Step 3: Complete the Alert Setup

1. A new window will appear with fields to complete.
2. Fill in the required fields as needed.

Step 4: Receive Email Alerts

• Email alerts will be sent to the selected users when the specified events occur.
