How to Set Up Speeding Alerts

The Speeding Alert notifies users of speeding events. You can set it up to trigger in multiple ways:

• Over Speed by amount (e.g., 5 mph or 5 km/h, based on user settings)
• Speed Limit (e.g., 75 mph or 75 km/h, based on user settings)
• Over Speed by % (e.g., +10%)

Step 1: Access the Alerts

1. Log in to the Motia Telematics Portal.
2. Highlight the vehicle you want to set the alert for.
3. Click on the "Alerts" icon in the blue function bar.

Step 2: Select the Alert Type

1. Choose the 'Speeding Alert' from the list.

Step 3: Complete the Alert Setup

1. A new window will appear with fields to complete.
2. Fill in the required fields as needed.

Step 4: Receive Email Alerts

• Email alerts will be sent to the selected users at the intervals/events triggered.
