How to Run Journey Reports

The Journey Report shows all journeys a vehicle has made between specified start and end date/time criteria. Follow these steps to run the report:

Step 1: Select Vehicles

1. Log in to the Motia Telematics Portal.
2. Highlight the vehicle(s) you wish to run the journey report for from the left-hand vehicle list.

Step 2: Access Reports

1. Click on the 'Reports' icon from the top blue menu bar.

Step 3: Choose Journey Report

1. Select 'Journey Report' from the 'Please Select Report' drop-down menu.

Step 4: Set Date/Time Criteria

1. Select the Date/Time 'From' and 'To' from the Date & Time Selection options.

Step 5: Load the Report

1. Click 'Load Report' to run the Journey Report against your selected criteria.

Step 6: View Journey Data

1. The journey data will be displayed. Each journey includes a summary of distance, time, idling, and duration.
2. For a detailed view, click the Earth symbol on the far right side of the journey to open the 'Snail Trail Map Plot'.

Step 7: Snail Trail Map Plot

1. The Snail Trail Map Plot shows each event update on the left-hand side with event type, vehicle location, and speed.
2. The right-hand side shows the events plotted on a map with options to switch the map plot from event to line, or to Google Street view.
